A Textbook of Primary Science
The Young Scientist is designed in accordance with the prevalent guidelines as per the latest NCF for the students in Classes 1 to 8. The series adequately whets the curiosity of the young learners and offers them possibilities to use their knowledge, intelligence and creativity to express themselves in different ways.

The Young Scientist

It has been our intention to create a series that explains the different science concepts to young learners in their own language. While every effort has been made to produce such a series, we await your feedback for any improvement in the same.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Rekha Gupta has been teaching science in various schools in Punjab and New Delhi for over two decades. She is now teaching the subject in a school for children from economically weaker section.

Aachal Susheel Tejuja has over five years of experience in teaching science to students across various boards. She is now working with a non-profit organization that is involved with the education of children in suburbs, small town and villages. for primary ,middle and senior school.

Jerusha D’sa is a psychological councilor by education. She has around five years of teaching experience and is involved in curriculum development across grades and boards for over two years.
